Each year the Rehoboth Beach Patrol votes for a lifeguard who has performed in a manner that is above and beyond the normal call of duty. This year for the first time in RBP history, two guards tied in Lifeguard of the Year voting. Dionn Stevenson and Tori Blankenship are this year’s Lifeguard of the Year for their outstanding efforts made throughout the season. These two guards have responded to multiple lifesaving situations this summer and have provided top-notch leadership to the whole patrol. We would like to congratulate Dionn and Tori with this award and thank them for their commitment to the patrol and the City of Rehoboth Beach.
